Elli partners with Virta for first multitenant platform integration of Elli Charger 2, expanding choice for European networks

Elli and Virta have achieved the first integration of the award-winning (Auto Bild Test Winner 2024/25) Elli Charger 2 with an external, multi-vendor charge point management system - Virta - opening new flexibility for European charging networks.

The collaboration allows charge point operators (CPOs), fleets, real estate owners, and retailers to manage Elli wallboxes alongside other leading charger makes and models within a single system. By combining Elli’s reliable, energy-smart hardware with Virta multi-vendor CPMS and advanced energy management, the partnership simplifies operations, reduces costs, and supports grid-friendly charging at scale across Europe.

It brings together Elli’s trusted, high-quality charging hardware and energy-smart capabilities with Virta’s advanced energy management, automated payments, and driver services—delivering broader hardware choice, simplified maintenance, and enhanced energy optimisation across mixed estates.

Elli is part of the Volkswagen Group, a market leader in EVs in Europe. This integration strengthens the ecosystem by enabling scalable, cost-effective charging operations. With a shared focus on growth, Elli and Virta will serve B2B clients across the region, with an initial commercial focus on Germany, Spain, and Italy. Commercial deployment will begin immediately.
