Default Plan

The foundation of your tariff structure

The Default Plan is the base layer of tariff management in Virta Hub. It includes a default tariff and can be enhanced with alternate tariffs for specific days or time periods.

Always active across your organisation, the Default Plan ensures every charging station has a tariff in place — creating a reliable foundation for your network and helping prevent accidental free charging.

Flexible tariff variations for specific days and times

Alternate tariffs are optional tariff variations that can be added to a Default Plan or Custom Plan. They apply during defined days or time periods, replacing the plan’s default tariff only when the scheduled conditions are met.

This makes it easy to create different tariffs for peak hours, off-peak periods, weekends or special pricing windows without rebuilding your main tariff structure. Your base tariff remains in place, while alternate tariffs give you the flexibility to adjust charging fees when demand, location needs or business goals change.

Custom Plan

Targeted tariffs for specific organisations, locations or charger pools

Custom Plans let you apply dedicated tariffs to specific organisations, locations or charger pools. They override the Default Plan for the selected scope, making it easy to support different commercial models across your network.

Use Custom Plans for partner locations, fleet customers, workplace charging, public charging sites or selected charger groups — while keeping your organisation-wide Default Plan as the fallback.

Loyalty Plan

Special tariffs for selected driver groups

Loyalty Plans let you apply tailored tariff adjustments for selected EV drivers, driver groups or customer segments. They work on top of the active tariff structure through discounts or supplements. You can also add a monthly fee for selected driver groups.

This makes it easy to reward frequent users, support fleet customers or offer special conditions while keeping your core tariffs consistent.
